1.My technic is quite mediocre,lacking contrast-defining moments and clear texture patterns.
2.Well,
quality=f(expirience,time spent),
don't be afraid of spending your time on re-working of your drawings and creating new versions in favor of discarded due to its quality.
3.May be it sounds rather weird, but your tools aren't only pencils, try to experiment with blurring by grapite dust with small rag or lightening your picture with eraser...
If you think your art is mediocre you must be on the bong pipe and thank you very much for the tips and the texture in your art is astounding im suprised your not making concept art for movies/gsmes personally i bet wwith all of your drones and all the other creations it would make a stunning game
